Short-Term Rehab

Services That Meet a Range of Needs

Different people have different care needs, which is why our rehabilitation and short-term care offer a variety of services to meet those unique needs. Our goal is to get people back to their lives as quickly as possible, so our team designs personalized plans that include input from family, physicians, and other key caregivers to ensure each person is cared for according to their situation and individual timetable. We also work very hard to find the right care for each person.

Short-term stays allow a spouse residing in our independent living residences to remain close to a loved one receiving skilled care at Mease Life or a nearby hospital.

Short-term assisted living may be helpful for an older adult whose caregiver is ill and cannot stay home alone. People also use this service to successfully transition from skilled nursing or rehabilitation to a permanent residence in assisted living.

Mease Continuing Care is an option after an illness or injury. Our social services team works closely with physicians and family members for any additional services an older adult may require at home, such as home care or durable medical equipment.

There are several advantages to choosing short-term rehabilitation at Mease Life. Our independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing are conveniently located under one roof. We’re next-door neighbors with the highly regarded Mease Dunedin Hospital, and our location in Dunedin, Florida, keeps loved ones staying with us close to family and friends.
